The Course
With GOLF Am Tour you can take the opportunity to tee it up at one of Australia’s most exclusive, invitation-only courses. Royal Perth, on the banks of the River Swan, was founded in 1895 and the championship course still adheres to the ‘old style’ with narrow fairways and greens that require pinpoint accuracy. By modern standards the par-72, 6,000 metre course isn’t long – but it is certainly challenging. Royal Perth is renowned for its firm, fast greens and strategically-placed bunkers and has played host to three Australian Senior Opens and the WA Open in recent years.
